LAHORE: Police and rangers crackdown operations against terrorists and criminals continued on Saturday as 47 suspects were arrested during operations conducted in multiple areas of Punjab.
The areas where the operations were conducted include Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Attock and Rajanpur.
The people taken into custody included activists from proscribed outfits and weapons and banned literature was also recovered from them.
Police also conducted identity checks of the residents of different areas and arrested 17 people who failed to produce any evidence of their identities.
