KARACHI: During an encounter with the police, an alleged robber was killed in Garden area of the city on Saturday.According to sources, the robber was looting people at gunpoint in the area, when the police reached the scene. Upon seeing the police, he opened fire on them which was reciprocated by them.During the exchange of fire, the accused was shot and died on the spot. A TT pistol and bullets were recovered by the police from his possession. He was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
