ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday approved to appoint Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US. He will take charge of the position after completion of current Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani’s term, according to the contract. Aizaz Chaudhry is the existing Foreign Secretary of Pakistan.
He has previously served as a political counselor and on other significant posts including a few in United Nations Organisation (UNO).
