Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said women’s role is vital for progress and no society can progress without empowering women.
In a message on International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, the CM said the aim of observing this day is to protect women rights and expedite efforts for checking violence against them.
He said we will utilise all the resources to protect women rights and the importance of women in evolution of a society and every sector of life is recognised. He said we brought an effective legislation to protect women’s rights.
