ISLAMABAD: At least four hardcore terrorists belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan convicted by military courts have been executed at a jail in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Ibrahim, Rizwan Ullah, Sardar Ali and Sher Khan were involved in committing heinous offences relating to terrorism, including killing of innocent civilians, destruction of communication and electricity infrastructure and educational institutions, attacking armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
Ibrahim was involved in killing of a civilian, destruction of a bridge and attack on armed forces which resulted in death of civilians and a soldier. He was also in possession of explosives. The convict admitted to his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
Rizwan Ullah was involved in killing of a civilian, kidnapping WAPDA employees and attack armed forces which resulted in injuries to an officer and a soldier. He was also found in possession of firearms and explosives. The convict admitted to his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
Sardar Ali was involved in attack on armed forces and destruction of educational institutions which resulted in injuries and death of soldiers. He was also found in possession of explosives. The convict admitted to his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
Sher Khan was involved in killing of a civilian and attack armed forces which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers. He was also found in possession of firearms and explosives. The convict admitted to his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
