KALLAR KAHAR: A ceremony to award badges and trophies to participants of second special training course of Uqaab Force was held at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Base Kallar Kahar on Monday.
According to a statement, a total of 204 PAF personnel successfully completed their rigorous training conducted by the Special Services Wing of the PAF.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman attended the ceremony as the chief guest and awarded badges and trophies to successful PAF personnel, who underwent a strenuous and demanding course.
Flying Officer Rauf Iqbal clinched the trophy for overall best performance in the course.
Addressing the ceremony, the air chief said, “Successful culmination of the training course would help us prepare to fight enemies of our country.” The air chief expressed his satisfaction over the level of training offered to participants and appreciated their high morale to fight against terrorists.
Participants of the course displayed their sniper shooting skills. Another important event of the ceremony was rappelling in which participants presented a thrilling display of shooting.
The ceremony culminated with a breathtaking freefall demonstration by the PAF sky diving team ‘Shahpar’. The daredevils of Shahpar jumped from a height of 15,000 feet and safely landed at designated places.
