CHINARI: A primary school teacher was caught red handed by authorities in possession of a large quantity of hashish.
A team of Chinari police, headed by SHO Javed Gohar, carried out a search operation against drug peddlers and nabbed a primary school teacher, Khawaja Bashir Ahmad, resident of Khatai, near Chinari Bharaian.
Police officials said that 100 grammes of hashish were recovered from his possession.
The suspect confessed that he was a drug addict for the last 20 years and was also engaged in drug peddling.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
