ISLAMABAD: A Meeting of the Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat was held in the Cabinet Division on Friday.
The committee expressed grave concern over the obsolete condition of machinery and lack of trained staff in the Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP).
It declared that the government should inject capital into the PCP in order to make it a profitable unit and to meet the requirements of the country as well.
It directed that the cabinet division move a summary action regarding provisions of financial assistance to the PCP so that the committee could take them to the appropriate forum for a solution.
The committee expressed strong dissatisfaction over the poor result of the 2016 CSS exams as only two per cent students were able to pass the exams.
