ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics will be briefed on Tuesday about drug addiction in colleges and schools by Federal Directorate of Education general director along with school and college principals.
The committee meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Senator Abdul Rehman Malik at Old PIPS Hall, Parliament Lodges in Islamabad, said a notice of Senate Secretariat.
The committee will be informed about the steps taken by the Narcotics Control Division to control and minimise drug abuse in educational institutes.
The Senate Standing Committee on Interior will also be briefed by the academia from Quaid-e-Azam University about drug addiction and its control.
