ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the government is committed to provide solid foundations for welfare and security of journalists.
While speaking on the Day for journalism martyrs, she said that despite unending challenges, our brave journalists have always actively contributed to the development of journalism in the country.
The minister said that those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of truth will always be remembered.
She appreciated the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists for commemorating the day.
