LAHORE: Lahore Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wednesday paid a surprise visit to rural health centres (RHCs) in Manga Mandi and Chung areas.
The DC inspected arrangement at the RHCs and inquired after patients about facilities being provided at the centres. He checked stock of medicines and reviewed cleanliness arrangement at the health centres.
He said it was the responsibility of the administration to provide best health facilities to the residents of Manga Mandi and Chung. He directed authorities concerned to make ensure better hygienic conditions at the health centres. The DC also reprimanded a dispenser for not wearing his uniform.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Asfand Yar Baloch and Health Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Zulfiqar Ahmad accompanied the deputy commissioner.
