KARACHI: Three people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in the city on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, Gul Nabi, aged 35, died and his friend 32-year-old Shehzad was injured when they were pillion riding at bike and unknown vehicle hit them near Bahria Town on the Superhighway.
The body and the injured were sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
In another incident, 16-year-old Asad Ali was hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road in Landhi Future Colony. As a result, he died on the spot.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Imran, resident of Gulistan-e-Johar, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle. As a result, he sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to the JPMC for an autopsy.
25-year-old Wahab, resident of Petal Para, was hit by a speeding vehicle in Banoria Masjid area. As a result, he sustained severe injuries and rushed to the CHK for treatment.
