KARACHI: An awareness seminar on Pakistan Scientific & Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) services was organized at Hamdard University.
The seminar was facilitated by PASTIC Deputy Director Mr Muhammad Khalid, and was aimed to introduce services of PASTIC available for research scholars for completion of their research projects and PhD/ M Phil degrees.
In his welcoming address the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Hakim Abdul Hannan, appreciated the initiative of PASTIC and expressed hope that the seminar would provide researchers with proper tools for conducting scientific and technological research and avenues of data search for completing their research projects.
He added that the seminar would go a long way in further strengthening and developing a research culture at Hamdard University.
In his vote of thanks Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Assistant Director Mr Adnan Zaib, appreciated and thanked the resource person for sharing invaluable input on PASTIC services for research scholars.
Earlier, the resource person and his colleagues visited mausoleum of Hamdard University Founder Chancellor Shaheed Hakim Muhammed Said, the seminar was attended by Deans, Directors, Principals and research scholars of the University.
