ISLAMABAD: A policeman killed a man after opening fire at his vehicle in the I-10 sector of the city.
According to officials, a young couple was travelling in a car when police tried to halt them at a checkpoint. The man however, did not heed the police’s directions and kept on driving.
A policeman subsequently opened fire on them which resulted in the instantaneous death of the man, though the woman remained unharmed.
The aforementioned police official subsequently fled the scene after realizing what had occurred.
