The opposition parties reportedly refused to meet a government delegation on Friday.
A government delegation comprising information minister, state minister for interior and other leaders wanted to meet the opposition, but the latter refused to hold a meeting over government adjourning the National Assembly session.
The opposition conveyed to the government delegation that the NA session held great importance due to prevailing tension in the country, claiming that the session was adjourned under a deliberate attempt by the government to prevent discussion on the mater. “Now all talks will be held in the parliament, and nowhere else,” former opposition leader Khursheed Shah reportedly conveyed to the government team.
