TAXILA: Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday suggested that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif should refrain from clashing with the judiciary and the army.
“I believe we should not clash with either the judiciary or the army since any relief in disqualification period of Nawaz would be finalised by the judiciary only. To refrain from fighting with the institution is in the best interest of Nawaz league,” Nisar said while speaking at a press conference in Taxila.
Continuing his address, Nisar said that he is still a member of PML-N and that the ex-minister would only discuss his reservations regarding the party policy in a party meeting. He added that he would soon be briefing on several matters ‘since the right time has come’.
Nisar also emphasised on his role in establishing the NA-52 constituency (Rawalpindi III) as a PML-N stronghold.
