KHAIRPUR: A meeting regarding working and coordination of national and international non-governmental organisations was organised by Social Welfare Department at DC office Khairpur.
Khairpur Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz Sohu appreciated and encouraged the work of non-governmental organisations for the disabled. He also listened to the problems being faced by non-governmental organisations and ensured them his full cooperation.
He said a rescue centre would be established in Gambat and work had already begun on it. Problems of non-governmental organisations and the disabled will be resolved on priority basis. He said all departments working in Khairpur would make necessary coordination and assist them in resolving their issues on merit and in case of any problems they should contact him, he added.
