KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Karachi chapter has announced to hold a ‘thank you Nawaz Sharif’ rally in Karachi to show gratitude towards the prime minister (PM) for the mega developmental projects given to the city by the federal government.
Addressing a press conference in Muslim League House on Monday, PML-N leader, Senator Nihal Hashmi said that PML-N aided Karachi by inaugurating mega projects, adding that no other political party has served the city to this extent.
He criticised the provincial and city government, saying that there is no ‘named government’ in Karachi. He said that everyone was busy in corruption and no one showed any concerned towards the city’s issues.
He said that Karachi became a garbage dump and has traffic jams, poor public transport and other civic issues. He advised Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to take care of its home province, Sindh, before venturing for politics in Punjab. The senator said that corrupt rulers are selling government jobs and they are least concerned about common man’s problems.
