ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Senator Saeed Ghani reacting strongly against government’s decision to increase petroleum prices has said that this increase would lead to an overall price hike.
Senator Saeed Ghani, in a statement issued by Media Office PPP Islamabad, said that PML-N government is thirsty of people’s blood and policies of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar are destroying Pakistani economy.
Government has usurped powers from OGRA and crushing people by increasing petroleum prices. PML-N government has totally failed to increase exports of Pakistani goods thus also fell short in reducing budget deficit resulting in resorting to increase in petroleum prices, he said.
Senator Ghani said that this increase in petroleum prices will be strongly protested in Parliament. He demanded of the government to withdraw decision of increasing petroleum prices.
