KAMONKE: A student was subjected to severe torture by a school teacher for not seeking permission to quench his thirst.
As per details, a 10-year-old student named Abdullah got enrolled in ‘Madrassa-tul-Madina’ after passing his grade 3 examinations. On Thursday, a schoolteacher named Zahid, along with his two colleagues, subjected minor Abdullah to gruesome torture with a wooden stick for not seek permission before drinking water. As a result of the torture, the innocent student became unconscious. Later, as he gained consciousness, the teacher tried to bribe him so he doesn’t discuss the matter with parents.
The parents of the student shifted him to a tehsil headquarter hospital in injured condition.
Faisal Iqbal, the father of the student and a labourer by profession, has lodged a complaint with the area police.However, case against the teacher has still not been registered.
The parents of the student in a statement demanded the Punjab chief minister to take stern action against the teacher.
