BAJAUR AGENCY: A moderate earthquake occurred in the areas of Malakand and Parachinar in Khyber Pakhtunkwa. No casualty has been reported so far.
An earthquake of a magnitude of 5.2 on Richter scale and depth of 84 kilometres with its epicentre located in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The earthquake jolted Parachinar, Malakand, Swat and adjoining areas on Friday.
The earthquake cause panic among the local people. People came out of their house and rushed to open places while reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.
