ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said that Indian aggression and inhuman tactics in Occupied-Kashmir cannot suppress the voice of Kashmiris.
Condemning operation by Indian forces in Occupied-Kashmir which left 20 Kashmiris dead while scores injured, PM Abbasi said that “India via its inhuman tactics cannot suppress the voice of Kashmiris and their legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.”
The premier added that IOK’s freedom movement must not be labelled as ‘terrorism’ and that the the United Nations (UN) Secretary General should nominate a special representative for the region.
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif also condemned the Indian aggression saying that “Kashmir has been bathed in blood”.
“Indian occupation forces martyred 20 Kashmiris, injured 300 and destroyed over 5 houses and still counting. Worst day of state terrorism in Kashmir valley,” Khawaja Asif said in a Twitter message.
Indian troops martyred at least 20 people and injured more than 70 in cordon and search operations in Held Kashmir’s Islamabad and Shopian districts on Sunday, triggering a new round of anti-India protests and clashes, according to the Kashmir Media Service.
