ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held today between Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Salih Bin Muhammad Bin Talib on Monday.
They discussed the issues regarding Muslim Ummah and matters of mutual interests between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Imam-e-Kaaba met Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore earlier and they conversed about the challenges the Muslim nations are facing globally.
CM talked to the Imam in Arabic. Zaeem Qadri and various religious scholars were also present in the meeting. They discussed the strategies for a stronger relation between both countries.
Earlier on March 9, the Imam had led the Friday prayers at the center of Markaz Jamiat Ahl-e- Hadith in Kala Sha Kaku. Thousands of people attended the prayer behind him.
