SHIKARPUR: The peace committee Shikarpur organized a high level meeting to deal with the threat of terrorism, at Deputy Commissioner Office here on Saturday. DC Shikarpur, Syed Hassan Raza, presided over the meeting while SSP Shikarpur Zeeshan Siddiqui, DSR Ranger Manzoor Ahmed, the representatives of religious parties, private schools, chamber of commerce, filling stations, and marriage hall were also participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion DC Shikarpur said that in a meeting with GOC, Pano Aqil, it has been decided that the owner of private schools, filling stations, Masjids, Imambargah, hotels, marriage halls should take security measures on a self-help basis. In addition, CCTV cameras should be installed within 15 days in private schools, filling stations, hotels and marriage halls to avert any untoward incident, if any one failed to comply with the instructions of the district administration, then strict action would be taken against them, accordingly.
