ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that the civil and armed forces have rendered unprecedented sacrifices for security of Pakistan.
Talking to Inspector General Frontier Constabulary Balochistan South Major General Sardar Tariq Aman in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that the Frontier Corps (FC) has played an important role in maintaining law and order and to provide security to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He emphasised the use of modern technology for training and skill development of FC personnel to meet the security challenges. He said that the government has spent eighty billion rupees to improve the performance of forces and establishment of new wings during the last four years.
He said that effective steps are being taken to prevent human trafficking and to meet other challenges on the borders with Iran and Afghanistan.
