LAHORE/MIRPUR/PESHAWAR: At least six people have been killed and several others injured in the destruction caused due to rain coupled with storms in the last 24 hours.
The wind blew away roofs of makeshift houses and electricity poles collapsed leaving six persons dead and several others injured. 32-year-old Basharat was killed in Lahore after a tree fell on him. Moreover, a woman and a girl were killed after the roof of their house caved in. A man was killed after a wall fell on him in Lower Dir while another man was killed after lightning struck him.
