RAWALPINDI: An Adiala central jail inmate died in the hospital on Monday.
According to reports, Lall Bahadar was arrested by Pir Wadhai police in a 9-B case and sent to Adiala jail. His health suddenly began deteriorating due to which he was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Rawalpindi. He was kept in the Intensive Care Unit but died there soon after.
Family members of the deceased requested the magistrate on duty that they did not want a post-mortem of the body. Therefore his body was subsequently handed over to them.
