KARACHI: Police claim to have gunned down two men affiliated with Daesh in the early hours of Friday in a raid conducted in Manghophir area.
Special Superintendent Police (SSP) West Nasir Aftab, stated that as the police were conducting the raid, two suspects opened indiscriminate fire on them which resulted in the injury to a policeman, while retaliatory fire by the police resulted in the death of the two suspected Daesh members and meanwhile accomplices managed to sneak out of the area.
Police recovered arms and laptops from their location and also found a hit list which contained the names of many senior government and police officials.
The suspects were identified as Haneef and Saifullah and it was suspected that they were going to target people from the hit list that they had compiled.
