PRETORIA: Protestors in South Africa held a peaceful demonstration to demand the release of noted female Pakistani scientist Dr Aafia Siddiqui on Sunday.
A ceremony, in which rotten eggs and tomatoes were thrown, was also arranged on the occasion of the launch of a novel “Baoo” by Pakistani High Commissioner in South Africa Najmus Saqib.
The protestors regretted Aafia’s prolonged detention and demanded her early release.
