WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States (US) Ali Jahangir Siddiqui had a meeting on Monday with the US Secretary of Defence General James Mattis, at Pentagon (the headquarters of the US Department of Defense.)
The meeting took place on Pakistan’s request and many important bilateral ties were discussed. Along with bilateral relations, issues pertaining to Pakistan’s ties with Afghanistan and the regional security were also discussed.
Pakistan’s Defence Attaché Brigadier Kamal Anwar Chaudhry also attended the meeting.
