LAHORE: Center of Islamic Finance (CIF) at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, in collaboration with Department of Management Sciences (CIIT-Isb) and State Bank of Pakistan, organised a two-day event capacity building workshop on Islamic finance.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Faculty of Business Administration Dean Dr Prof Khalid Riza. Profound Ulma Ikram, renowned bankers, and officials of takaful companies attended this workshop.
Bank Islami Pakistan Supervisory Board Chairman Mufti Irshad Ahmad Aijaz was the speaker of the event. He discussed all the dimensions of Islamic banking and answered the questions of the audience.
The closing remarks and certificates were given by Department of Management Sciences Head Dr Aneel Suleman along with Associate Head Dr Fahim Aslam. The vote of thanks was extended by CIF In-charge Dr Abdul Sattar Abbasi.
