KARACHI: An alleged target killer who reportedly belongs to Muttahida Quami Movement-London (MQM-L) was arrested late Saturday after a raid was carried out in Karachi’s Manghopir area according to police officials.
Amir Alias Kaala admitted to being affiliated with MQM-L during questioning after he was taken into custody, superintendent of police Orangi Abid Ali Baloch said.
The suspect was arrested somewhere near the border between Sindh and Balochistan, police stated, adding that he had disappeared somewhere in the westside province near Sarkan.
Amir Alias Kaala also confessed to being the party’s representative in Surjani’s Taiser Town area meanwhile weapons including a 30 bore pistol, hashish and five rounds were also recovered from his possession, He was also found to be smuggling drugs from Balochistan to Karachi.
