LARKANA: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that whether election is held on or before schedule but impact of JIT and Panama Leaks will certainly be visible which may be in any form for which he cannot say anything. He was talking to media in Garhi Khuda Bux on Monday after offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, which were held in Bhutto mausoleum.
Tight security arrangements were made on the occasion. Shah said that constitutional rights of Sindh would be obtained from center. He said during last CCI meeting issues of gas, electricity, water, NFC award and others were focused and gas problem was sent after clearance from CCI to sub-committee headed by federal law minister which is favorable.
He said vote is of the people and claimed that people of Punjab are with the PPP like rest of the country. Shah said that center has put National Action Plan behind which is terrible thing for which he has recorded his concern yesterday with the federal government. He said that Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is very active in Sindh and he took immediate notice of martyrdom of four policemen in Karachi on 27th Ramadan and hoped the culprits will soon be brought to justice. He claimed that law & order situation in Sindh is far better, terrorism has been wiped out of Karachi and people are taking sigh of relief now for which PPP’s elected government is being given credit, he added.
He expressed sympathies with the bereaved families of Bahawalpur tragedy and said people of Sindh are with the affected families adding Eid is being celebrated in simple manner. CM said that burns wards are not only available in Karachi but also at Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jillani Institute, Gambat adding that there was no such ward in South Punjab which was why casualties increased. Later CM flew to Jacobabad, offered condolences with MNA Aijaz Jakhrani over the demise of his elder brother Farooque Jakhrani.
Meanwhile, PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, after offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers inside Bhutto graveyard, exchanged Eid greetings with party leaders & activists available on the occasion which include former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Food Minister Nisar Khuhro, Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal, MPAs Khursheed Junejo, Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Divisional and District administration officers and large number of party activists.
