MULTAN: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Multan police on Monday claimed to have killed four terrorists during an encounter in Tehisl Jahanian.
According to police sources, a CTD team, conducted a raid at the hideout of terrorists in Tehisl Jahanian, where militant belonging to a banned outfit opened fire on the police team.
In retaliatory fire, four militants were killed on the spot. The police team also claimed to have recovered 10 kilograms of explosive martial, one hand grenade, two rifles, mobile phone sets and a TT pistol from the scene. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
