LAHORE: At least 12 suspects were arrested after police conducted search operations in separate areas of Lahore on Sunday.
The operations were conducted in Sher Shah Colony, Chong and Raiwind road and nearby areas, and resident’s identities were scrutinised.
Biometric devices were also utilised and 12 people who failed to prove their identity were taken into custody.
Sources say that this operation was launched to maintain law and order in the provincial metropolis.
