TANK: Security sources informed media that at least six security personnel were injured in a blast in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district on Monday.
Media reports cited security officials as saying that Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were on a routine patrol when their vehicle was targeted near Tank’s Molazai Mor area through an improvised explosive device (IED).
The injured security personnel were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Tank.
Security forces cordoned off the site of explosion and a search operation was launched in the area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
