ISLAMABAD: A three-judge bench of Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan is expected to hear rape and murder case of Asma on Tuesday.
The bench consists of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nasir, Justice Umarata Bandiyal and Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
Earlier on Friday, Justice Nisar took notice of Mardan rape and murder of 4-year-old minor Asma on Friday.
The minor, whose dead body was found in the nearby fields, was raped and murdered on January 14 in Mardan.
Inspector General (IG) KP Salahuddin Mehsud had confirmed on January 17 that an autopsy report revealed that the minor was raped before being strangled to death.
Director General (DG) Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Ashraf Tahir also confirmed that the girl had been raped since samples of a different DNA were found in her body.
