LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday returned to Pakistan after a six-day visit to Saudi Arabia, while Nawaz Sharif is also expected to be back in the country on Tuesday.
Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz held a 1.5 hour-long meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman late Monday night, Sharif family’s spokesman confirmed.
Nawaz will now proceed to Mecca for Umrah, after which the PML-N chief will fly back to Islamabad today, the spokesman added.
Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Nawaz Sharif, posted on twitter that her father would return to Pakistan tonight after performing Umrah.

CM Shehbaz Sharif, reportedly, met with the crown prince MBS at least twice in last 24 hours. The leaders discussed matters of bilateral interests in the meetings. Punjab chief also lauded the role Saudi Arabia played in the on-going Palestine issue.
The chief minister is expected to leave for Lahore today.
