LAHORE: The squads of Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United have agreed to play the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan.
According to sources, Darren Sammy, J.P. Duminy, Shane Watson, Imran Tahir, Carlos Brathwaite, Colin Ingram, Luke Ronchi, Colin Munro, Luke Wright, Darren Bravo, Tamim Iqbal, Sam Billings, Andre Fletcher, David Wiese are among the foreign players who have confirmed that they would visit Pakistan to play the PSL matches.
However, other cricketers including Chris Lynn, Mustafizur Rahman, Evin Lewis, David Willey and Jason Roy linked their visit with the security situation.
Moreover, England’s Eoin Morgan and Australia’s Mitchell Johnson have so far refused to visit Pakistan.
Foreign players who agreed to play in Pakistan will get an additional amount of $10,000 per match.
