Wah Cantt: A Seminar on Health, Safety and Environment was organized on the start of Safety Week in POF under the auspices of HSE Department of POF on Tuesday. Speakers highlighted the importance of health, safety and environment in an industry and stressed upon the audience to create awareness among employees. There is a need to bring the standard of safety, health and environment at international level as all organizations in the world focused on environment, health and safety of their employees. They further mentioned that there is the need of hour to further improve the disaster management as we lack infrastructure to cope with natural calamities. Earlier Health, Safety & Environment Director Mr Tariq Shauq, in his address, remarked that health, safety & environment are the part & parcel of any industrial complex. He further mentioned that HSE Department of POF has taken a lot of steps to maintain the required standard of health, safety and Environment in POF. Latest safety equipments are being provided to the employees that will help reduce the rate of accident in this industrial complex.
