LAHORE: Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik’s wife Mushaal Malik on Thursday said the atrocities of Indian occupied forces were never a hurdle in the freedom struggle.
She deplored that India wanted to hold fake polls in the valley. Addressing the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA), Mushaal said India had become a terrorist country as it was not inclined to give the Kashmiris their due right. She said that the role of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shameful in the killing of Kashmiri freedom fighters.
She said that India under Modi was acting like a terrorist state. She added that all Hurriyet leaders were under house arrest, adding that the occupied forces were not even sparing doctors for treating the injured.
She said that the brutalities of Indian forces were on the rise.
Mushaal said the genocide of Kashmiris was not the solution, adding that India had to give Independence to them.
She lauded the Pakistan lawyers for their struggle for independence and restoration of judiciary and constitution. She said that the Kashmiris loved Pakistan and they hoped the Pakistanis would support their movement for independence.
She urged the Pakistani lawyers to play their role for independence of Kashmir. Acting LHCBA President Rashid Lodhi said Kashmir is essential part of Pakistan and fascist India could never be able to curb the freedom movement. He urged the government to take up the Kashmir issue in the International Court of Justice.
