LAHORE: The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) held its 51st convocation where 473 fellows and 126 members were awarded degrees on Wednesday.
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh President Prof Michael John graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “The journey to this point in any one’s career entails much hard work and dedication, not only by yourselves, but also by those who support you in your endeavours. For many of you, today is a culmination of many years education, training and long hours of study. We should use our utmost efforts in providing the best medical facilities and services to the patients.
In his address, CPSP President Prof Zafarullah Chaudhry highlighted the services of CPSP at national and international level.
He advised new specialists to serve the ailing and miserable humanity in the far-flung areas of the country.
