KARACHI: A police encounter in Sherpao colony near Quaidabad resulted in the death of at least three dacoits on Tuesday.
According to police, the accused looted a man, Dilawar Khan, at gunpoint near the Maula Dad Graveyard in Sherpao and fled the scene on their bike. The police chased the suspects and tried to catch them. In a firing exchange with the police all three dacoits were killed.
Police have shifted the bodies to Edhi morgue for identification.
Weapons, motorcycle and stolen equipment were confiscated from the suspects’ possession.
