KARACHI: Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Muhammad Saeed on Tuesday said that the on-going operation against terrorism and other crimes had resulted in a 91 per cent decrease in criminal offenses.
While addressing a seminar at Karachi University, the DG said that 1,513 terrorists had been arrested and 10,716 weapons recovered during 9,079 raids so far.
He said that due to the operation in Karachi, a significant decrease in crime was witnessed and after restoration of peace in the city, the country’s economy strengthened. He ensured that security of the educational institutes will be improved.
