PINDI BHATTIAN: A man allegedly killed himself, his wife and four in-laws on Sunday in the village of Shori Maneka, said police.
The accused Muhammad Mansha had been estranged from his wife Batool Bibi. He had gone to her parents’ house to get her, however his in-laws refused to send her back. Mansha exchanged hot words with his in-laws. Mansha pulled out a gun and opened fire, killing his wife, father-in-law Bashir Ahmed, mother-in-law Jannat Bibi, brother-in-law Muhammad Nasrullah, sister-in-law Fauzia while his daughters Samia and Sadia suffered serious injuries. The accused then committed suicide.
The injured were shifted from the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital to Allied Hospital Faisalabad. The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
Police officials said the accused was involved in another murder case and had been released from jail two months ago.
