MULTAN: Police on Saturday arrested 40 suspects accused on different charges, including gambling, drugs and other criminal activities.
According to police sources, seven drug peddlers and seven gamblers were arrested. 37 litres of liquor, 225-gram hashish and stake money were recovered from their possession.
Police also arrested an Amplifier Act violator, along with 18 proclaimed offenders and seven drivers for violating traffic rules.
