RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army’s media wing – Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) – said on Friday that seven major generals have been promoted to rank of ‘Lieutenant General’.
The following have been promoted:
- Major General Nadeem Raza – presently is Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
- Major General Humayun Aziz – presently is Welfare and Rehabilitation (W&R) director general (DG) at army’s general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
- Major General Naeem Ashraf – presently posted at National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad.
- Major General Muhammad Afzal – presently is Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) director general.
- Major General Sher Afgun – presently is Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) inspector general.
- Major General Qazi Ikram – presently is Personnel Services director general at GHQ.
- Major General Bilal Akbar – presently is Sindh Rangers director general.
