PESHAWAR: To improve health facilities for underprivileged people by increasing access to quality services, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has launched Sehat Insaf Card to provide relief to the poor patients.
590 patients have been facilitated of in MTI KTH whereas 160 have been operated under Sehat Insaf Card. A separate room has been dedicated for the counter of Sehat Insaf Card and now the timings are from 9am to 11pm.
The poor patients get free treatment 24/7 under Sehat Insaf Card in Khyber Teaching Hospital. Currently 140 patients are admitted in KTH under Sehat Insaf Card and getting free treatment. In KTH Sehat Insaf Card holders are also facilitated in Institutional Base Practice.
The present government is focused on providing free and quality health care to the poor people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and under Sehat Insaf card patients are getting free treatment which also includes major surgeries and state of art diagnostic services.
Khyber Teaching Hospital was the first one to sign Memorandum Of Understanding with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department. A workshop was also arranged on Sehat Insaf Program 09-03-2017 for further awareness of the faculty.
