ISLAMABAD: At least 100 educational institutions of the federal Capital are running without principals and vice principals due to induction of 5 vice principals each in certain institutions by Federal Directorate of Education and ministry of CADD.
According to media reports, 422 small and large educational institutions are working under federal directorate of education, Islamabad, out of them 155 educational institutions are for boys and 52 principals and 91 vice principals have been appointed therein. This way the total strength is 143.
Out of them 45 principals and vice principals have been appointed in 20 schools of Islamabad City while only 10 Vice Principals have been provided to rural areas schools in federal Capital, this means 56 percent of total strength has been inducted in institutions functioning in Islamabad urban areas which constitute 12 percent of total educational institutions.
Five vice principals have been appointed in Rawat and Chak- Shahzad each respectively, four each in two institutions, three each in seven institutions, while two vice principals have been appointed in each five departments.
45 vice principals have been appointed in 20 schools of urban sector, 14 vice principals in 41 institutions of Bhara Kahu area, 11 vice principals in 32 schools of Sihala sector and only nine Vice principals have been appointed in 32 schools of Tarnol sector.
