LAHORE: The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) held its 7th job fair on Sunday at the PUCIT New Campus.
Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar was the chief guest on occasion whereas PUCIT Principal Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar, faculty members and a large number of students were also present.
As many as 43 leading multinational and national IT companies set up their stalls while more than 600 students participated in the fair.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Zafar said that leading multinational and national IT companies were benefiting from the expertise and ideas of PUCIT graduates, who were working on key positions. He said that such events provide a good job opportunity for students. “The PUCIT is producing market-driven graduates, who are working in multi-national and national IT companies.”
Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar said, “The purpose of the job fair was to facilitate our graduates to match their skills and abilities with the available opportunities.”
